
I love The Sims! I’ve been playing it starting from The Sims 1 to The Sims 3! During High School, I was so excited to finally play The Sims 2 that I would stay up late and wake up early just to play. XD
(Screenshots are not by me. I just got them from some forum. But the Korean girl is really pretty, right? She looks like Jang Geum. XD)


My favorite parts of the game are going downtown, creating my sims and struggling to keep them alive while they work and earn money. XD But sometimes I use cheats. :P

Btw, I thought I should share this awesome video. I’ve watched this back in high school, now I tried watching it again, and I still think it’s amazing. XD The storyline, the editing, the characters, everything is just AMAZING. :)

I used to love this game to the point where I would lose sleep. XD I love playing RPG games, but I haven’t played a lot. I’m too scared to get addicted. XD 


This game is really good. Or maybe it’s because I just love the idea of playing with walking people on my computer screen. This game didn’t disappoint me, but instead I disappointed myself. I recklessly played a new game, then I accidentally overwritten my new game to my old game. So in short, I went back to level 1. Great. And to think I was near the end! I already got a dragon, and I was levels pass that! Argh. But it was fine. At least after that I tried to hit the books again and study for our final exams. :)

Anyway since it’s summer, I’m downloading Aveyond 2: Ean’s Quest. Although I’m not sure if I can play it until the end. I need to restrain myself. XD It’s hard to be get out of that zombie mode while playing games. :P

Barbie is plastic. Her measurements are unrealistic. She broke up with her long term boyfriend (43 years) for an Australian surfer named ‘Blaine’. Then hooking up with Ken again last Valentine’s Day. But despite all the negative news about her she still remains as today’s number one doll, defeating even her recent competitor ‘Bratz’, proving that only she has what it takes to be the (doll) queen.
Barbie has certainly become a world class icon and an inspiration, if seen from a positive perspective. From being a pilot to a classy stewardess, this doll handled both a man’s and a woman’s job, promoting that gender should never be an issue. A woman can do what a man an do and vice versa.


Being a man or a woman is no longer an issue, it’s fulfilling your purpose as human that’s truly important. As her facebook fanpage says, “With over 130 careers, this doll believes in the power of dreaming.” But dreaming is just the first step, in the real world you have to work hard and prove yourself. 
As her doll friend says, “Magic happens when you believe in yourself.” Instead of letting the bad vibes enter your life, why not think of happy thoughts? Count your blessings. Be optimistic. Stand up after a fall. Barbie may just be a doll, but looking at what the creator had to go through and is still going through to make and keep Barbie the number one doll, you have to admit that that took a lot of patience, hard work, perseverance and a positive mindset to be where Mattel, Inc is now. So whatever your dream is, always keep the faith. God is there for you, believe in yourself. Just like what this pretty doll taught us. :)

3.4 Playground: “LEGO: Building Blocks”

I love LEGO! I love the concept of creating big buildings out of such small bricks. It’s amazing how with one block, you can create great things.
Since this week is the Holy Week, I found something interesting. It’s a LEGO PROJECT the started in 2001 by Rev. Brendan Powell Smith called “The Brick Testament.” Rev. Smith tells stories about the Bible using LEGO dioramas.

Amazing huh? :) His designs are very detailed, I love how he tells Biblical stories through LEGO Pictures. You can clearly see the effort he gives to create these, it makes me feel happy just by looking at them. Go to his site, you’ll love his works!

3.3 Playground: Jack Stones and Korean Jacks

“Jack Stones”
I’m not very good at this game. XD Whenever my friends would play, I’ll just look at them. I’ll play sometimes but only as a “saling-kitkit” (Ung tipong, “Pa-try” lang :P) But even if I hardly play, I still bug my mom to buy me this toy. XD I don’t know why, I just love the ball. XD Meow~

“Korean Jacks”
Jackstones are originally from Ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt. But did you know that in Korea they also have their own version of this game? It’s called “Kongki Noli” the Korean Jacks!

* The player is out if they touch any stones that they were not supposed to touch.
* The player is out if they do not catch the stone in the air.
* The player is out if they do not catch all the stones from the back of their hand in the air.

I would love to have my own set of Korean Jacks! Also some researchers say that moving your fingers aids in brain development. Although based on my Jack Skills, I think they’ll just be displayed on my study table. The pretty colors might stimulate my brain. :P

3.2 90’s Playground: Chinese Garter

“10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100!” Haha. I still remember playing this game when I was a kid, I wasn’t really good at high jumps back then. XD Well, I’m not exactly the worst player, but I can’t jump any higher once garter reaches the poste’s shoulders. I remember using MAGIC and SLEEPING BEAUTY for that. Sleeping beauty is the funniest, it’s when you just go inside the garter, close your eyes and do 10, 20 using your hands. XD But most of the time, that technique isn’t exactly acceptable. XD

After reading this, the highest one I’ve jumped is probably Level 5-6. XD Which isn’t surprising since I wasn’t an active child before. I’m more playful now. XD But I think Level 10 is still impossible for me now. XD I’ve never seen anyone who can do that. O.O
Ah~ I miss those days. I wish I can play Chinese Garter now. :))
3.1 90’s Playground: Tamagotchi and Virtual Pets
So this week I’ll be posting about my favorite games and toys when I was little. :))

Who doesn’t want to have one of this when they were younger? I used to even beg my mom to buy me one! I remember using a toothpick to start my game. XD Back then I would wake up early to feed my pet. I was obsessed with raising it. I wanted to be happy, I wanted it to grow. Too bad it didn’t go the way I planned. :( But hey, it was still fun. This is one of the cutest game invented during my time. (That makes me sound so old. :P)

Tamagotchi is actually derived from the Japanese word ‘Tamago’ meaning Egg and the English word ‘Watch’. I just found out that there’s actually a movie about this game! The characters are so freakin’ cute! I know I’m 18 now, but I would love to watch this with kids. XD I’m a kid at heart. :))

Isn’t that adorable? That’s a Baby Lupe from Neopets (http://www.neopets.com/). My account is no where to be found now, but that’s how one of my pets look like. I had three pets, a Mutant Cybunny and an Acara. (Here’s the complete petlist: http://www.neopets.com/allpets.phtml) I got addicted to this when I was still in high school. It’s fun and interactive. Neopets have different worlds where you can travel and earn neopoints along the way. Neopoints enables you to buy things for your neopets. Brushes are my favorite item, special brushes transforms your neopets into different species, such as my Lupe turning into a Baby Lupe.
I also made a lot of friends there. Back then I didn’t know what LOL means, I remember always using LOL as a reply, even if nothing was funny. XD The players are really nice, they helped me buy my first baby brush. :)

But now I’m happy playing Pet Society. :D Check out my pet ‘Cho Min’ aka ‘Potchi’ wearing her Kimono. :))
I’ve always loved Virtual Pets, since I can’t have a real pet at home. How about you? Do you still play these games? :)
