The Sorcery Examination has just begun, aspiring professional witches and wizards have exactly six months to obtain the Crystal Pearl. But only one team could win. Will it be San (No.003), the girl who loves sweets and her partner Forte (No.0004), the boy who makes them? Or will it be Go (No.005), Rokka’s (No.006) guradian? Or maybe it’s Nanase(No.006) and Yakumo (No.007), the guy with a Kansai dialect. As the hunt begins, only one team wins. But what if the Crystal Pearl is actually inside a human girl named Nina? Another team vows to protect her against all the participants, partner’s Zero and Icchi. For six whole months they go wherever Nina is and protects her with their life. Who will win the contest?

(SPOILER WARNING)
The story also has an anime version and a sequel. :) It’s pretty good. It’s hard to decide who I wanted Nina to end up with. Icchi and Zero are both so damn cute. :P Icchi has a prince in a white horse feel, while Zero has a spoiled brat feel. :P Ok, that didn’t sound good. But I like Zero the way he is. XD Especially after reading about their past. Well, the story is pretty anime like (duh. XD Must I really say that. :P), with different characters popping out of nowhere. It’s nice how even if the whole situation is absolutely unrealistic, the author was able to make it seem possible, if not then normal.
Although the reason why and how Nina powers is still vague. I suspect that it’s because of the Crystal Pearl inside her body, but who know maybe she is a witch. I should read the sequel. :P
One thing I like is how the author is able to express the situation in a serious yet light tone. The action scenes were fast-moving but weren’t too intense. It’s an easy read. She had successfully maintained her tone throughout the whole story. You can clearly see that she’s writing for a certain audience. Thus drawing a fine line to not give too much of anything. With the right amount of drama, action, romance and fantasy, she was able to make the story more fun and friendly.
As for the drawing, I had a feeling the author favored Icchi. XD (She admitted that Icchi is her favorite character.) Icchi is really handsome, Zero is very cute and cool. In the human world, Icchi looks like ‘the boy next door’ type or the ‘cute seatmate who’s also an honor student’ or your mom’s friend’s son. XD Zero is more like ‘my childhood friend who keeps on teasing me but I kind of like him’ type or ‘the guy from the other class who always cause a ruckus’. XD LOL, sorry for the long words. Nina is pretty lucky to have them by her side. Although about Nina, I wasn’t really fond of her hair at first, but I learned to live with it. I like her hair when it’s tied or when it’s short. :P I also LOVE San and Forte! THEY ARE SO CUTE! Forte looks like a prince and a princess. XD San looks like a doll, she has that lolita-feel. I also like PEARL! SO ADORABLE! RYU~

Oh! And I also find Eleven and Twelve’s love tests cute. XD Do you think it’s accurate? :)
(I know this is late, I forgot to publish it. D:)
