Fashion Inspiration: Alice in Wonderland
After 48 decades, I’ve finally watched Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton. I remember myself wanting to watch the movie in 3D but since I was never able to do that, I decided not to watch the film. But hey, I couldn’t resist the temptation. Anyway, since I’m bored again and it’s Halloween today, I decided to make this an Alice in Wonderland-inspired set. :)

ALICE
“If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is because everything would be what it isn’t. And contrary-wise; what it is it wouldn’t be, and what it wouldn’t be, it would.”
I couldn’t choose between the two dresses, I liked the design of the 1st one but the color of the second one is more Alice-like.
THE RED QUEEN
“OFF WITH THEIR HEADS!”
Bloody red clothes for the bloody red queen. Heart-patterned stocking for the queen of hearts.
THE WHITE QUEEN
“A pinch of worm fat, urine of the horsefly, buttered fingers, three coins from a dead man’s pocket, two teaspoons of wishful thinking.”
Really, she isn’t as elegant as she looks. But let’s conceal that fact with pearls, lady-like clothes and dark lipstick.
THE MAD HATTER
“You have to be as mad as a hatter, which luckily i am.”
I love the mad hatter! He’s crazy and he knows it. :)) I had fun putting this together, the crazy colors blends well with black.
THE CHESHIRE CAT
“I’m afraid I have to expel a rather ferocious hairball. You’re on your own, girl.”
I had a hard time choosing between the striped cardigan with the Cheshire Cat’s signature color and the faux fur vest that looks like a cat’s fur, so I had to do both. :))
So there, it’s 5am already and I’m finally sleepy. :)) Happy Halloween everyone~ :))
